We’ve taken your feedback and made some improvements so you can have the BEST year yet at ACL Fest. With easier exits, our improved Wine Lounge, more food, and so much more, this year’s fest won’t disappoint. Read on to learn more about what’s new in 2018!
Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Bag size may not exceed 14” x 11” x 5” (35cm x 28cm x 12cm), or 30 linear inches (75cm) in total, and must have no more than one singular pocket or opening. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited.
NO LIQUIDS WILL BE ALLOWED THROUGH SECURITY CHECKPOINTS. Empty water bottles (plastic or aluminum) or hydration packs are allowed but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.
You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home and going through the “No Bag” line at the entrance if you are not bringing a bag with you into the park.
We’re making it easier for you to get out of the park at the end of the night. We’ve opened up the east side of the HomeAway stage so that fans can take a more direct route to either of the Barton Springs exits after the last set is done.
Wine down at the ACL Wine Lounge, brought to you by Campo Viejo! Located in a beautiful shady grove, the lounge features a wine shop and has something for every wine enthusiast from classic varietals to frosé, spritzes and other specialties. Come sip, relax and stay for a while in the shade!
Not to mention, we’re adding another bar and CamelBak Hydration Station near Rock Island for added convenience on the east side of the park.
VIP and Platinum guests will also have access to a new bar near Rock Island in the General Admission area to get drinks on the go.
Hungry? We’re making it easier for you to get delicious food at the fest. In addition to our ACL Eats food court on the north side of the park, we’re adding even more food vendors to the south food court near the Barton Springs stage. You’ll be able to get food from:
Amy’s Ice Creams
Burro Grilled Cheese
Southside Flying Pizza
The Salt Lick
Tinos Greek Cafe
Wholly Cow Burgers
Go beyond the music at ACL Cares where you can get involved with a variety of causes, including art, the environment, and organizations committed to improving the quality of life for their community and future generations. While you’re there, check out the new ACL Cares Academy to learn from and engage with organizations and causes involved with CARES through interactive panels, meet and greets, and fun activities!
ACL Fest continues to offer free freshly filtered water at CamelBak Hydration Stations located throughout the festival. This year, there are now 25% more CamelBak Hydration Stations in the park.
Fans are encouraged to bring empty water bottles (plastic or aluminum) to fill once inside the park. For CamelBak-type water bottles the maximum size is 36 oz.
New this year we’ve added Bike parking locations near the Barton Springs East entrance! Bike and Dockless Mobility Parking will be located on Toomey Road at Sterzing Street and on Azie Morton Rd.
