ACL Festival Weekend One takes place October 1-3, 2021 and ACL Festival Weekend Two takes place October 8-10, 2021 at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. Festivals hours are:

  • Friday: 12PM – 10PM
  • Saturday: 11AM – 10PM
  • Sunday: 11AM – 10PM

Public Transportation

Cap Metro offers more than a dozen bus routes that operate eery 15 minutes, 7 days a week. Your best bet to get to ACL is MetroRapid Route 803.

Bicycles

Bike parking is available on Stratford Drive near the Mopac Pedestrian Bridge.

Walking To Zilker

There is no parking at ACL Festival. Parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is strictly prohibited, and vehicles will be ticket and towed.

Take the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail for a quick walk and easy access to the festival grounds.

Passenger Drop Off & Pick Up Location

Pick up and drop off location is at William Barton Drive in front of the Barton Springs Pool.

Uber

We've partnered with Uber to make your experience getting to and from the festival as easy as possible. Ride with Uber for access to pick and drop off points.

Getting To The Fest:

When you're ready to go to the fest, type "Austin City Limits Music Festival" or "Zilker Park" into your app as your destination. This will update your dropoff to the nearest dropoff point around the festival.

Leaving The Fest:

In order to request a ride you must first exit the festival and walk away from Zilker Park to get outside of the restricted area. You will be able to request a ride as normal in the app once you've crossed the River, South Lamar Blvd or Frontage Rd.

Rollover Tickets

If you chose to rollover your ticket from 2020, your tickets are valid for 2021 and no action needs to be take on your end. You can confirm your tickets by logging into your Front Gate Tickets account for Weekend One or Weekend Two.

Official Festival Ticket Exchange

Fans now have the ability to purchase through an official, verified ticket exchange. If you purchased a ticket and can no longer attend the festival, you can also use the exchange to resell your tickets. Sign in to your Front Gate Tickets account and under “Your Account” select “Order History” to list your ticket on the Ticketmaster Verified Exchange.

Official Wristband Policy

  • Wristbands will be mailed in advance of the festival.
  • All sales are FINAL – no refunds and no exchanges.
  • Only wristbands purchased through Front Gate Tickets are valid. If you purchased from an unauthorized source and/or the ticket is counterfeit, you will not be allowed entry.
  • Wristbands MUST be worn securely on wrist and cannot be slipped on and off.
  • 3-Day Tickets must be scanned upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.
  • Wristbands are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE and NON-REPLACEABLE.
  • Do NOT remove between days, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry.
  • Subsequent and/or multiple presentations of a counterfeited wristband are VOID and will be seized by Festival security staff.
  • If your wristband is removed by Festival security/event staff for any reason, it WILL NOT be replaced.
  • All ticket holders must pass through security and are subject to bag inspection. Prohibited items will be confiscated by event staff.
  • The festival takes place rain or shine.
  • THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS WRISTBAND POLICY.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a $25 wristband replacement fee.

Buying for Third Party Sellers

  • If you want 100% confidence in your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets on our Tickets page, frontgatetickets.com or Ticketmaster Verified Exchange. In the event of a festival cancellation, your tickets may only be refunded when purchased through these avenues. Tickets from other websites or resellers cannot be verified by the festival.
  • Often times people will sell their wristbands to others if they cannot attend a certain day. Unfortunately, removing a wristband automatically voids it. Festival Security will check every wristband to assure it has not been removed.

Children at the Festival

Children 10 years-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a ticket-holding adult. Limit 2 children per ticketed adult.

Allowed & Prohibited

Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home.

The following items are ALLOWED:

  • CLEAR bags made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". Small clutch purses and fanny packs with no more than 1 pocket.  Clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 5.5
  • Baby Strollers
  • Frisbees
  • Chairs
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Cameras (basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
  • Empty reusable water bottles and hydration packs, and plastic or aluminum water bottles

Prescription Medicine Requirements:

  • Anyone needing prescription medicine at the festival must present the pharmacy-labeled container which states the prescription, dosage, and patient name to our medical staff at each entrance gate. Patrons are only allowed a sufficient supply of the prescribed medication for that day.
  • Medicines needing to be inhaled or smoked are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler.
  • Over the counter medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day. Bottle contents will be verified by medical personnel at the entry gates.

The following items are PROHIBITED:

  • Any bags that are not clear or are larger than 20" x 15" x 9".  Any hydration packs with more than 2 pockets.
  • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products
  • Coolers of any kind. (Exceptions may be made for medical use)
  • Framed backpacks, multiple pocket back packs and any pack that is not aligned with the allowed backpacks above.
  • Any and all professional audio recording equipment
  • Professional cameras and professional recording (photo, video, audio) equipment (NO large professional detachable zoom lenses, stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks) or other commercial equipment.
  • Any and all professional video equipment. No video recording will be allowed
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Hammocks
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage (including alcohol) of any kind
  • Umbrellas
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Selfie sticks
  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles
  • Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • Bicycles inside festival grounds (free parking is available near festival entrance)
  • Carts of any kind (including Red Wagons)

Safety at ACL

We want every fan to feel safe at the festival. Specific questions regarding safety, security, medical, and any others can be directed to info@aclfestival.com If you have an immediate need while on-site seek out any festival staffer, police, fire, or security personnel.

Health and Safety

The safety of fans, artists and staff remains our top priority. ACL Fest organizers are in regular communication with local health and public safety officials and will follow current recommendations and guidelines in place at the time of the festival. As the weekends approach, ACL Fest patrons will receive regular updates with important information regarding safety policies and procedures before entering Zilker Park, and which will also be shared at www.aclfestival.com, on social media and via the ACL Fest Email List.

 

COVID-19 Warning

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, our artists and employees.  You must follow all posted instructions while attending ACL Fest.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present.  COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending ACL Fest, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Security Screening & Entry

For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full body pat-down and magnetometer screening before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian. Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event.
