The Cool Evil EP by Otis the Destroyer was recorded at Big Orange Studios by Stuart Sikes except for "Sour Tsunami", which was recorded at Mosaic Sound Collective by Charles Godfrey. All songs were mixed by Stuart Sikes, mastered by Erik Wofford at Cacophony Recorders, and the EP was self-produced by the band. Influenced by Fugazi, Smashing Pumpkins, and My Bloody Valentine, Cool Evil maintains the same level of song craft as their first album Keep Bashing, but adds more shoegaze type elements. Pulling from late 90's guitar records, the sounds are big and organic.
