Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Families help fight childhood cancers through Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Stop by and make a donation for a nice cold cup of lemonade.
A charity effort that started in the early years of the Austin City Limits Festival is still going strong and fighting cancer “one cup at a time”. Alex’s Lemonade Stand greets music fans in the Austin Kiddie Limits area with ice cold lemonade sold for a higher purpose. Austin families were touched by the story of the young Pennsylvania girl who started her own lemonade stands in 2000 to fund research for her own cancer. Although Alex died from the disease, her legacy lives on in lemonade stands all over the country, including right here at ACL Fest. All money raised goes to her charity, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which funds research for childhood cancer. The Austin Kiddie Limits lemonade stand has donated tens of thousands of dollars to the cause. Thanks for your help!
