  7. Children at ACL Festival

Coming to the festival with kids in tow? ACL Festival invites music fans of all ages, including kids! Austin Kiddie Limits runs parallel to ACL Festival in its own securely designated area at Zilker Park. Austin Kiddie Limits opens at 11 AM and closes at 5 PM each day of the festival, and creates an environment for parents and children to enjoy family-friendly music on the Austin Kiddie Limits stage. While you're listening, feel free to make some arts & crafts to remember sharing these memories with your kids!

Take advantage of our free Tag-a-Kid service. Stop by the Tag-a-Kid booth where we will take down your contact information and give your child a specifically numbered wristband. Should you and your child get separated, we’ll have a way to reconnect you.

Children 10 years-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a pass-holding adult.

There is limited accessible parking available near the festival on a first-come, first-served basis to vehicles displaying a state-issued handicapped plate or placard. The person to whom the placard or plate is issued must be present in the vehicle, as a driver or passenger. As part of gaining access to accessible parking, identifications will be checked to ensure legitimate use of these items.

Take the Rollingwood exit to the North bound access road of Mopac (Loop 1). Follow festival staff and signage to ADA parking near the festival.

This is the only official drop off point. It's quick and easy. For safety reasons, please don't attempt to drop off passengers at other areas near the park.

Note: There is no official festival parking at Austin High School or on Stephen F. Austin Drive. It is a short walk across the footbridge to the festival portal at the Town Lake Entrance. Please note that Stephen F. Austin Drive will be closed to thru-traffic (other than those dropping off festival goers) during the Festival from about 9am to Midnight. Access to Austin High parking lots will be limited to those attending Austin High events. Also, there is NOT pick-up and drop-off being allowed on the Access Road of Mopac and the Barton Springs Road/Robert E. Lee area. Persons may be ticketed.

  9. There's a Good Deal On Craigslist, Should I Take It?

Every year thousands of our loving fans think that buying a wristband via Craigslist, eBay, StubHub, VividSeats or any broker site will save them some cash and allow them to access the festival. Unfortunately, many of these are either already used or are counterfeits.

If you want 100% confidence in your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your passes at aclfestival.com or frontgatetickets.com every single time. Also, in the event of a festival cancellation, your passes will only be refunded when purchased through aclfestival.com or frontgatetickets.com.

Often times people will try to sell their wristbands to others if they cannot attend a certain day. Unfortunately, the removing of a wristband automatically voids it. Our security takes great pain in checking every wristband to assure it has not been removed and replaced. You will be caught and you will be escorted directly from the festival grounds.

  10. Late Night Show Tickets

Official ACL Festival Late Night Shows are announced closer to the festival through C3Concerts.com. They happen in Austin and surrounding cities both weekends and the week in between. You do not need an ACL Festival Wristband to attend these shows. Check back in Summer 2015 for the announcement of Late Night Shows.

  1. What is MyACL?

Creating a MyACL account today gives you access to the festival all at your fingertips. You can prepare for your time at the festival by creating a customized schedule based on the artists you want to see, and share with your friends so you can plan beforehand together.

  2. What Happens if I Don't Create a MyACL Account?

Basically, you can continue to use the entire site, listen to the music player, learn about bands, see when they are playing, participate in contests and all that jazz without ever interacting with MyACL. But you'd be missing out (and who wants to do that?). Signing up for MyACL lets you customize and compare your ideal festival weekend and keeps you up-to-date with what's happening around Zilker Park during the weekend. Signing up for MyACL does not sign you up for our e-mail list.

And no, signing up for MyACL doesn't mean we'll bug you with unwanted updates. You're in control and you can customize as much as you want to.

  3. What is the Difference Between the "E-list" and "MyACL"?

MyACL is how you customize your entire ACL Festival experience. It is how you create a Custom Schedule, Custom Lineup and Custom Festival. Anything you add will be added to your customized MyACL on aclfestival.com.

To stay even more connected to what's happening with ACL Festival, sign up for our E-list to receive email updates directly to your e-mail inbox about:

    • Official Late Night Show
    • Artist giveaways
    • Super-special deals
    • Updates on future festival tickets to get a head start!
  4. How Do I Sign In To MyACL?

You can access MyACL by clicking on the vertical brown side bar on the left side of the page.* Simply click on your picture, if you've already logged in. If this is your first time logging in, click on the silhouette image in the circle at the top of the side bar to get going on MyACL.

This side bar lives on every page and will keep you signed in once you log in. So you can go explore artists and craft your schedule, and always have access to your MyACL from every page.

*If you're planning your festival from your mobile device, the MyACL access bar will be at the top of every page.

  5. What All Can I "Add" to MyACL?

Anything that has a "+" or "+ ADD" button. This can include, but not limited to:

    • Bands on the Lineup Page
    • Individual Artist Pages
    • Set Times from the Schedule Page

Keep an eye out for the "+" or "+ ADD" and make sure to click that button. Once you add something to MyACL, you will see the green bar on the left light up. This means your time has successfully been added to your MyACL so that you can stay updated with special notifications.

You can always remove something from MyACL as quickly as you can add it. Just look out for the "-" or "- REMOVE" button.

  6. What is the Music Player?

The music player is a collection of Soundcloud tracks from artists appearing at ACL Festival. It will stream continuously as you navigate throughout different pages of the website. You can activate the player without being signed into MyACL, either by clicking the play button on the left side of this page, on the Lineup or Schedule Page or any Band's Page.

We chose Soundcloud to source all music tracks so that the artists could decide what music they wanted to share and so you wouldn't have to create any other accounts to listen to it. As more artists add tracks to Soundcloud, we'll add them to aclfestival.com.

  7. I Don't Want My Information Public. What Can I Do?

Head to the MyACL Account Page (located in the bottom-right of the footer) and click the "Make Your Festival Private..." button.

  8. I Have a Question That Wasn't Answered Here. What Now?

No problem, contact us at info@aclfestival.com and we'll help you out!

  9. Where Can I Find Legal and Privacy Info?

You can find that info at our Legal & Privacy Page or our Terms & Conditions Page.

  13. I Have a Question About Wristband Activation Not Answered Here. Who Can I Contact?
  1. How Does ACL Cashless Work?

It’s easy! Simply follow these three easy steps:

    1. Activate your festival pass with the unique ID (located on the inside of your wristband) during which time you can link your credit card to your wristband and set a required PIN for security. Now you’re registered for ACL Cashless too!
    2. Next, order at any bar location and select vendors, and let them know you are paying with your wristband.
    3. Then tap your wristband, add a tip amount, enter your PIN, and then you're done!
  2. What Are the ACL Cashless Benefits?
    • Save time and easy to use!
    • No need to carry cash or a credit card.
    • Accepted at all bars, food vendors, and festival merchandise tents.*

*Art Market Vendors will only accept cash and cards, so if you're planning on shopping there plan on bringing those payment options with you to the festival.

  3. In Order to Activate My Wristband, Do I Have to Sign Up for ACL Cashless?

No. While we certainly think ACL Cashless the best payment option, you can activate your wristband without enabling the ACL Cashless payment option.

  4. I Already Activated My Wristband, But Missed ACL Cashless

Don't stress! Visit the Wristband Activation tent just inside the Barton Springs festival entrance, and our staff can help you add ACL Cashless and set your PIN right there!

For more immediate assistance before the festival, please contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, or by calling their friendly support team at 888.512.SHOW (7469) Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.

  5. Are There Any Additional Fees for Using My ACL Cashless Wristband?

Nope! It is free to sign up and free to use!

  6. Is My Credit Card Information Stored on my Wristband?

No. We do not store any financial data on the wristband. The PIN you choose during ACL Cashless registration will always be required to make a purchase. But your card number and billing details are not stored on the wristband. So don’t worry about someone snagging your info.

  7. Is ACL Cashless Secure?

Yes! It works in conjunction with your credit card so it carries all the same security features and protection. You will also set a PIN during registration (just like a debit card), so no one else will be able to use your wristband or your ACL Cashless Account without your PIN.

  8. Can I Link the Same Card to Multiple Wristbands?

Yes. If you wish to allow your card to be linked to multiple wristbands, you certainly can. Each wristband will require a separate PIN. The PIN must be entered when using the wristband to purchase anything participating in the ACL Cashless program at the festival.

  9. Can I Link Multiple Credit or Debit Cards to My Wristband?

No. You will only be able to link a single credit or debit card to your wristband.

  10. Will My Wristband Run Out of Money?

Not unless the card you linked it to does. No funds are stored on the wristband. It’s just linked to your credit or debit card. As long as you can still use your card, you will still be able to use your ACL Cashless wristband.

  11. What Happens if My Wristband is Damaged?

First, don’t panic. We can help! Come to either Ticket Help booths (located at each entrance) or the ACL Festival Box Office and we will be able to help replace the wristband if you activated it. You will have to re-link your credit card for security purposes. Then you will be back in action!

  12. If I am on the Will Call / Guest List and pick up my pass at Box Office, can I activate my wristband and sign up for ACL Cashless?

Yes! Once you get your wristband(s), just visit aclfestival.com from your smart phone or click the Activation link in the ACL Mobile App, and complete the easy activation steps and optional ACL Cashless add-on right there on the spot with a few clicks!

Visit Ticket Help at each entrance or the Wristband Activation tent just inside the festival for any questions or needed assistance.

  13. I Have a Question About Wristband Activation Not Answered Here. Who Can I Contact?

Please contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, or by calling their friendly support team at 888.512.SHOW (7469) Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.

  9. Still Have Questions About Our ADA Access & Accommodations?
  1. ADA Parking

Also, we strongly encourage using the festival's free shuttle buses through Capital Metro, which are equipped with lifts for wheelchairs. Visit www.capmetro.org/accessibility/ to find out more about accessible services from Capital Metro.

  2. ADA Festival Entrance

There are special designated lanes at the festival entrances for patrons with disabilities. Look for the wheelchair signs above the entrance lanes or ask a volunteer to direct you to the lanes.

  3. ACL Festival Access Center

Our Access Center is located inside the festival grounds near the Barton Springs entrance. It is clearly marked on the festival map.

Our Access Center services include, but not limited to:

    • Answers to questions specific to the Access Program
    • Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities
    • Programming information in large print for reference
    • Power outlet for recharging power wheelchairs
    • Festival map that identify all viewing areas for patrons with mobility limitations or patrons who are Deaf / Hard of Hearing (plus one companion). Please note that special access viewing areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  4. ADA Wristband Program

Visit the Access Center for information on our wristband program. If you have mobility impairments or are Deaf or Hard of Hearing you can request a specially colored wristband at the Access Center. This wristband is to show our team that you (plus one companion) are eligible to enter the wheelchair platform or the Deaf and Hard of Hearing areas.

Note: the wristband does not guarantee a spot in these areas. Both areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The wristband is non-transferable.

  5. Patrons with Mobility Limitations

The Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages. Also, it is an outdoor music festival situated in a park. Therefore, most travel is over natural terrain. If it should rain, there will be mud in some places.

We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed.

Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with wheelchair platform locations identified. The wheelchair platform areas are reserved at all times for people with mobility impairments plus one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.

  6. American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation Performances

We provide many American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted music performances for patrons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Write access@aclfestival.com to request specific shows be interpreted. The deadline to request an interpretation is the second Friday of the month prior to the festival each year. Requests submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Check back in the weeks leading up to the festival for a full line up of shows that will be interpreted.

Please visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with Deaf/Hard of Hearing areas identified. The designated areas are reserved only for Deaf/Hard of Hearing patrons and one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  7. Special Dietary Needs

Outside food and drink (except for bottled water) is not allowed in the festival, but if a patron has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. You will be asked to present your doctor’s note to security upon entry to the festival.

A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact location). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

  8. Service Animals at Festival

Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds. Service animal inquiries can be sent to access@aclfestival.com.
