The Festival Experience

ACL Festival takes place on 46-acres in Zilker Park, the crown jewel of Austin’s public green spaces.

It plays host not only to 130+ artists from across the globe, but amazing local eats and wares, free fun for the kiddos, green goings-on, and other cool activities to entertain you between sets!

2014 Austin Eats

Austin is known for its food and Austin City Limits Music Festival is no different.

With signature ACL fare such as the Hot and Crunchy Mighty Cone, vegetarian and gluten-free considerations and options far from funnel cakes or turkey legs, Austin Eats showcases the most premier Austin restaurants. Food vendors will be serving all day. All vendors accept cash, and there are plenty of ATM’s available.

2014 ACL Art Market

The ACL Art Market is located right in the center of Zilker Park and all booths are open throughout the duration of the Festival. From accessories and head gear to boots and posters, attendees can browse a quality selection of goods from dozen of local artisans.

There is even an Official ACL Festival Boutique Store where you can buy limited edition specialty items, and a General Store for any last-minute needs.

Austin Kiddie Limits

Austin Kiddie Limits is family-friendly fun for all! It’s chock-full of rockin’ good stuff guaranteed to make kids of all ages move, groove, and sing-along.

Plus, kids 10 and under get in free with a ticket holding adult! Austin Kiddie Limits will be open from 11:00AM to 4:30PM daily.

2015 BOX OFFICE HOURS + LOCATION

Box Office Location

ACL Festival Box Office is located at Zilker Park across from the Barton Springs festival entrance. There are also Ticket Help Booths located at both festival entrances.

Locker Rentals

Do you want a safe and secure place to store your things while you enjoy ACL Fest? Rental lockers will be available near the Lady Bird entrance so you can free up your hands and avoid losing any personal items during the show. Complimentary chair check will be available here, too!


ALLOWED & PROHIBITED ITEMS

Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home.

ALLOWED
  • Baby Strollers
  • Backpacks (Standard school sized. No frames or camping gear.)
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets
  • Cameras – only non-professional point & shoot cameras will be allowed. Hand-held Go-pro cameras are allowed without attachments including sticks, tripods, headgear, etc.
  • Empty CamelBak water bottles and hydration packs
  • Empty plastic or aluminum water bottles
  • E-Cigs
  • Portable/collapsible chair (individual seat only; no double-wide or connecting chairs)
  • Totems, rage sticks and flags under 12 ft. tall are allowed for way-finding among friends. Items that are deemed to be unsafe or inappropriate, or are being used for purposes other than intended may be confiscated on site.
  • Umbrellas (Hand-held; no bigger than 42” when open)
  • Water – you may bring two factory sealed bottles of water and refill them throughout the day at our free water filling stations
PROHIBITED
  • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products
  • Audio recording equipment
  • Coolers of any kind. *Exceptions may be made for medical use
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Framed backpacks
  • Hammocks
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Illegal drugs
  • Non-collapsible chairs
  • Outside food or beverage of any kind, except 2 factory sealed bottles of water.
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Professional radios or walkie-talkies
  • Professional video equipment
  • Professional cameras and attachments including detachable zoom lenses, flashes, tripods monopods, etc.
  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles
  • Smoking is not allowed in all Austin parks, including Zilker Park.
  • Tents, canopies or shade structures of any kind
  • Unauthorized materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, samples, etc.
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind.

GREENING EFFORTS

The Austin City Limits Music Festival strives to mitigate its impact on the environment. We take a considerable amount of pride in the efforts of our fans in maintaining the integrity of Zilker Park over the course of the weekend.

ACL Festival provides a great opportunity for patrons to learn about local and nationwide organizations whose mission is to educate, inform and inspire.


SECURITY & SAFETY

We are making every effort to create a safe and secure environment on the Festival grounds. On-site security will be provided by the Austin Police Department, the Parks & Recreation Department police and a private security company.

Emergency medical staff will be available on site. If you need any assistance, go to the medical tent, or look for a police officer or Festival staff member.


AM I ALLOWED TO EXIT & RE-ENTER?

All Passholders are allowed to enter and exit the festival as needed up to 5 times per day. You must be scanned upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.

There are ATMs at several locations throughout the festival grounds with applicable service fees. Some vendors accept credit cards, such as the Festival’s Merchandise tent.


TAG-A-KID

Coming to the festival with a youngster in tow? Take advantage of our free Tag-a-Kid service. Stop by the Tag-a-Kid booth where we will take down your contact information and give your child a specially numbered wristband. Should the two of you get separated, we’ll have a way to reconnect you.

Ticket is for ACL Festival, not for a specific artist. Artists and schedule subject to change without notice. Artist cancellation is not grounds for refund. The ticket is a revocable license for the time/date listed on the ticket.

"Management" means C3 Presents, LLC, and their affiliates. Management reserves the right without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, local, state or federal law or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by Management. Persons entering the facility are subject to search for contraband. Ticket user bears all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during or after the event. Ticket user bears all risks, including cancellation of the event and of inclement weather. The resale or attempted resale of the ticket higher than that appearing on the ticket is prohibited and if discovered will result in the ticket being voided without refund. The ticket may not be used for advertising promotion (including contests and sweepstakes), or other trade purposes without the express written consent of Management. Ticket user consents to Management's use of their image or likeness incidental to any video display, transmission, or recording of the event.

Parking

Due to the increase in restricted parking areas, appropriate signage will be installed earlier, as well as allowing for time for corrections prior to the event commencing.

These signs are valid upon installation. Please adhere to the signage. The restricted parking area signage will stay UP between weekends. They remain valid during this time period.
