Austin-Area Events for Haiti Earthquake Relief

without comments

For Austin-area ACL Fest fans, we would like to take this time to showcase a number of music-related events that the local arts community has put together to help aid earthquake relief currently underway in Haiti.

Antone’s Medical Supplies Donation Drive
Antone’s will be throwing a medical supply drive for Haiti earthquake survivors Tuesday, January 19th. The drive will last into the night, and people can drop off medical and surgical supplies at the nightclub. Film and music industry members and Texans for Haiti are organizing the drive, and supplies will be delivered to Haiti via a jet provided by a private foundation. Medical supplies needed include elastic bandages, splints, slings, antibiotic ointment, latex-free gloves and respirator masks. For a complete list of requested supplies, visit their website below, or search for “Haiti Med Supplies” on Facebook.
