Austin City Limits Music Festival "Friday Side-Stage" Sweepstakes Rules
C3 Presents, LLC (the "Sponsor") is sponsoring a contest in conjunction with the Austin City Limits Music Festival. The contest rules are as follows:
Contest Dates: The Contest begins Monday, September 8, 2008 at 12:00am CST and ends Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 11:59pm CST. Winners will be notified on or about Tuesday, September 16, 2008 via either e-mail.
Prizes: ONE (1) Grand Prize: 4 Friday single-day tickets to the 2008 ACL Festival (September 26, 2008) and escorted stage access for 4 to view the band selected per the sweepstakes. No cash option or substitution of prizes is available. No expenses incurred directly by the winner will be reimbursed by Sponsor. Winner is responsible for lodging and transportation to and from the Event. Admission tickets are non-transferable and will be deemed void if sold, transferred, auctioned or assigned to any third person.
Eligibility: To enter, the contestant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident alien of the United States, and must be over the age of 21 years old. Questions about eligibility will be determined by documentary evidence (either a valid driver's license, state i.d. card, or U.S. passport). No more than one entry per household will be eligible. No employee or immediate family member of Sponsor is eligible to enter the contest.
How to Enter: To enter, each contestant must submit entry information in one of the following ways: (i) Voting and entering email on the website.
>Odds Of Winning: Odds of being selected as a prize winner depend on the total number of entries received. The Prize will be awarded strictly on the basis of a random drawing conducted by Sponsor with independent verification. The Prize will be awarded, regardless of the number of entries received. The drawing is to be conducted after the deadline for entry submission and no later than September 16, 2008.
Notification: The winners of the Prizes awarded will be notified by e-mail within 3 days after selection. The notification will also include details as to how winning contestant can claim his or her prize. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within two (2) days (or such shorter time as exigencies may require) of the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected.
Liability; Waiver: Contestant acknowledges that Sponsor is not liable for any entries that are either misdirected or incomplete, is not liable for any losses due to electronic or computer malfunction, and is not responsible for any injuries or losses (1) occurring during or caused by participation in the contest, or (2) caused by any prize awarded. The winner will be required to sign a corresponding release of liability and a permission for winner's name and hometown to be released to the media or to other contestants seeking the winner's list. Additionally, winner, by claiming his or her prize, consents to the taking of his or her photograph and the publication of that picture, his or her name and hometown in promotional literature of Sponsor and on the Sponsor's web site. Prize winner will be responsible for any taxes assessed on their winnings by any governmental agency, state, local or federal. Sponsor will notify the Internal Revenue Service of all winnings to the extent required by law.
