High School & College faculty & students! Put down that syllabus and forget about that big exam next week, we got something special just for you! Now that you’re back in town, we want to make sure you and your buddies get that Fall Break you deserve and get into the gates of ACL this October.
The 2010 Austin City Limits Music Festival has been completely sold out for months, but this FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th we will be holding a special Student Day Sale. Three-Day Passes will be available for $145 for students presenting a valid High School or University-issued ID. There is a TWO ticket per person limit and sales are CASH ONLY.
- UPDATES: To ensure the safety and comfort of our overnight fans, there will be additional port-o-potties, overnight security & police officers, as well as additional lighting. H-E-B will be selling concessions starting at 8pm tonight and then again from 6am to 8am Friday morning. Also, look out for signage directing you where to enter and stand to ensure no confusion upon your arrival.
- The sale is happening at the HEB Plus on 2508 Riverside Drive. Please park at the back portion of the Parking Lot. The store hours are 6am to 1am, students are welcome to arrive at whatever time they want, but keep in mind if you arrive when the store is closed, you will not have access to restrooms.
- When you arrive, follow the signage & head to the west side of the parking lot, next to the Pharmacy Drive-Thru. From here, you will form a single-file line inside the bike racked line queue assembled outside the store and wait to receive a number.
- Starting at 7am, numbers will be given out to students in the order in which they are lined up. Numbers will only be given to those in line with valid Student ID’s issued by a High School or University. This number does not guarantee you an opportunity to purchase a 3-Day Pass, it is simply to ensure no cutting, skipping or holding spots in line. Reserving spaces for friends in line will not be permitted and if caught, you will kicked be out of line.
- Starting at 9am, once the sale starts, the line will begin to move forward and 3-Day Passes will be sold sequentially based on the numbers handed out until supplies run out. Remember, cash will be the only accepted form of payment. If you arrive after 9am and don’t receive a number, you may still get in line. Once we have processed everyone with a numbered ticket, IF any tickets remain they will be put up for purchase on a first-come basis to those left in line.
