I am native of Senegal,West Africa. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, I worked as Manufacturing Engineering. In 1990, I started a family venture,Teranga Restaurant, the first West African cuisine in West Texas. It did not take long to attract the Texas monthly and television, it soon became an historical landmark. With the support of my brothers and my beloved wife, Sophie Faye, may her soul rest in peace,Teranga became the intellectual hide out of TTU students and exotic gourmets. Austin’s commitment to cultural diversity motivated my decision to move in 1992. Goui-Gui allowed me to help African countries by selling commodities crafted by Africans.
