2012 Mobile App for iPhone or Android

Put the Festival in the palm of your hand and whip your ACL weekend into top shape long before you even walk through the gates next weekend with the Official ACL 2012 Mobile App! Browse the line-up, create a custom schedule (or sync up with your existing schedule) and share it all on Facebook and Twitter.
First, corral your crew with the GroupMe-powered group chat, then figure out exactly where everyone is by dropping a pin at your location and sharing with your buddies. But that’s not it, tune in to Slacker Radio’s ACL Festival Channel directly from the app to hear prime cuts from all your favorite Festival artists. And lastly, make sure you’re tagging your Instagram photos with #aclfest to showcase your shots for all to see!

Personalize Your Wristband

On the subject of wristband, we’re psyched to announce the new RFID-enabled capability of our credentials this year. Both Three-Day and Single Day passholders will have in and out privileges, and most importantly you can register your wristband to authenticate and ensure that your wristband remains YOURS. Now, if it gets damaged, you can easily & immediately void the wristband, receive a new one on-site and get back to the show. As an added bonus, if register and connect by Thursday you’ll be entered to win Three-Day VIP upgrades for you and a friend to this year’s Festival! AND, when you get to the festival, if you Check-In at at least 5 Boxes, you will be eligible to win a VIP trip for two to the 2013 Festival including a round trip air for two, weekend hotel stay and a pair of VIP 3-Day Passes! If you purchased a Travel Package and have not yet received your wristband, don’t worry, we have automatically added your wristband ID’s into the contests!

Be Weather Ready

Topping the list of Austin’s best qualities is its mild fall weather. That said, Mother Nature can be fickle ‘round these parts and you won’t want to be caught unprepared. Pack the sunscreen and a sweater and make sure you have some rain gear just in case a drizzle heads our way.

Zilker Park is Smoke Free

Just a reminder: Zilker Park, along with all of Austin’s parks, is a non-smoking venue. In observance of the smoking ordinance, all patrons will be directed to smoke outside the festival gates in the street. All ticket types, including Three-Day Passes and Single Day Passes, will be allowed to exit and re-enter the festival grounds during the event. Should you choose to smoke outside of the Festival, please be mindful of the smoking ban and responsibly discard your cigarettes. Thank you for your cooperation!
