Fan Photo Contest
We want to see your Festival snapshots this weekend. Our math department tells us that 79.8% of Fest attendees bring their camera, 59.2% can take a decent photo, and no less than 21.7% ever share their pictures with the world. Ok, so we made up those stats.
But we ARE giving you the chance to not only get your snapshots live on the ACL website, but possibly win VIP passes for the weekend. It's easy and you don’t have to be Ann Lebowitz… regular ole’ digital camera snapshots are just fine. Here's what to do. |

Simply take pictures like normal in the park during the Festival. Shoot pictures of anything you want: bands, the stages, people dancing, the sunset, or the throngs of hairy shirtless men wearing cowboy hats and no shoes. |

Pick your best 3-5 photos each night when you get home or back to your hotel. Then do us a big favor: size them down to 500k or less in file size. |

Email your favorite 3-5 pictures to fanphotos@austincitylimits.com along with your name and hometown. And send them in quickly, as we’ll pick a winner each night. |

The next morning, go online to The Daily Wrap. You’ll see all the fan photos in The Daily Wrap and our chosen big winner who receives 2 VIP passes for the rest of the weekend. If you have won, simply email fanphotos@austincitylimits.com and we’ll give you the scoop on getting your VIP passes.
- Friday night’s winner gets 2 VIPs for Saturday and Sunday.
- Saturday night’s winner gets 2 VIPs for Sunday.
- Sunday night’s winner gets 2 VIPs for all three days of the 2008 Festival!
Good luck! And remember; only personal camera equipment is allowed inside the Festival (i.e. small digital cameras or point-and-click 35mm cameras). Cameras with any type of detachable lenses are prohibited.
